The first step in registering a domain name is choosing the name you want. For assistance in choosing a domain name, have a look at: Choosing The Right Domain Name. Once you have chosen the name you want you then need to check if it is available. To check if your desired domain name is available you can use our Domain Name Availability tool.

To register your domain name, fill-in our Domain Name Registration form. To register an Australian domain name (.au) you need to be registered as an Australian business/company/association or organisation.

Once your application has been placed, it takes 48 hours to be approved. An Ingenuity staff member will contact you once the domain name registration has been approved.
