Nameserver and Delegation Details
You do not need to transfer the management of your domain name to
Ingenuity Hosting for us to host your website or email.
If you wish to manage your own domain all you need to do to transfer your hosting to us is delegate your domain name to point to
our servers.
What does it mean to delegate (or sometimes referred to as re-delegating) your domain? This simply tells The Domain Name System (DNS)
to look for your website and emails on
Ingenuity's Servers instead of your previous host.
You will need to make this change through your domain registrar (the place where you purchased your domain from). If you
do not have the information to login into your registrar you may need to contact them and request the necessary details
be sent out or for them to make the change on your behalf.
