Mozilla Thunderbird Email Settings and Configuration

To configure Mozilla Thunderbird:

1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird
2. Click on the "Tools" menu and select the "Account Settings" option


3. Click on "Add Account" button


4. Select "Email account", then click "Next".


5. Enter your name and email address and click "Next"


6. Select "POP" and in the "Incoming Server" box, type: mail.ingenuity.net.au then click "Next"


7. In the "Incoming User Name" box, type your full email address and click "Next"


8. In the "Account Name" box, type your full email address and click "Next"


9. Click "Finish"


10. Select the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" option


11. In the "Server Name" box, type: mail.ingenuity.net.au and in the "Port" box type: 25. Tick the box saying "Use name and password" and type your full email address into the "User Name" box then click "Ok"


Your email is now setup with Mozilla's Thunderbird.
