Making Your Site Secure
To make your website secure, you will need to use SSL. All Ingenuity business plans (i-Biz, i-Corp and i-Premier)
allow the use of our shared SSL certificates at no additional costs. To have this feature enabled, please contact
Ingenuity's technical support team on
1300 66 46 43,
email:
sales@ingenuity.net.au or follow this link
to our
Online Contact Form.
When SSL is enabled for your website, you will be given access to an "SSL" folder where you should upload any web
files that you would like to be secured. Once the files are uploaded, you can access them by using your secure URL
which will be sent to you when the SSL is configured.
For example - if your website is
http://www.example.com.au and you wanted to have a form called
"contact.html" secured you would upload the file "contact.html" to your "SSL" directory. To access this file, the
new secure URL would be:
https://secure1.ingenuity.net.au/example/contact.html.
