Entourage for Mac OS X Email Settings and Configuration

How to Set Up Entourage for Mac OS X:

1. Open Entourage
2. Click on the "Tools" menu and select the "Accounts" option (below)

3. Click on "New" and select "Mail"
4. In the First name field, type your first name. In the Last name field, type your last name, then click the right arrow button.

5. In the following two screens you can enter work and home contact details. These pages can be left blank. To skip these pages, click the right arrow button.

6. Select the "I want to start using Entourage without importing anything" option in the "What do you want to import?" section, then click the right arrow button.

7. Check the box next to "Enable Junk Mail Filter" then click the right arrow button.

8. In the Your name field, type your name, then click the right arrow button.

9. Select "I already have an email address I'd like to use". In the "E-mail Address" field, type your full email address, then click the right arrow button.

10. Click the arrow box on the "My incoming mail server is a(n)" pop-up list and choose "POP". In the "Incoming mail server" field, type: mail.ingenuity.net.au and in the "Outgoing (SMTP) mail server" field, type: mail.ingenuity.net.au then click the right arrow button.

11. In the "Account ID" field, type your full email address. In the "Password" field, type your email password, then click the right arrow button.

13. In the "Account name" field, type your full email address and check the box next to "Include this account in my Send & Receive All schedule", then click the Finish button.

14. From the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts"

15. Select your mail account in the list.
16. Click the "Click here for advanced sending options" button.

17. Tick the box next to "SMTP server requires authentication" and click the button in the "Log on using area". In the "Account ID" field, type your full email address and your password. Click the OK button.

Your email is now setup with Entourage for Mac OS X.
